Aspen House

Aspen House is a care community in the small, tight-knit town of Morinville in central Alberta. We offer assisted living services in a warm, welcoming home for individuals who require daily personalized assistance and may benefit from the availability of wellness services like medication monitoring and administration, escort to meals and activities and more. Dedicated memory care is also available for individuals living with dementia.

Leadership Team

Marie Concepcion

General Manager
Marie is a senior-level leader with almost a decade of experience in facilities management and operational performance in the retirement industry and beyond. She has worked in some of Canada’s strongest brands with a background in nursing. A hands-on inspirational leader with an ability to drive high levels of engagement, performance and impact from multiple levels of contributors.

Marie started her nursing career in Long Term Care in Campbell River, BC and eventually moved to Edmonton working in Supportive Living, Memory Care/Memory Living and Independent Living environments. Marie is an active member of the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta and is a member of the Hearing Tribunal Board for the College. She acted as a Mentor for the Colleges’ Mentorship program where she shared her experience and wisdom to help new nurses reach their career goals.

Marie enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog Meg. She also enjoys crafting, reading and cooking.
